Crossroads is an English-language web magazine aimed at the international community living in Maastricht and surroundings.
First launched in print form in December 2001, Crossroads is published by the Maastricht-based European Journalism Centre.
The purpose of our magazine is to inform expatriates of the opportunities available to them to make the most of the time they spend here, whether alone or with friends and family.
Through expat tales as well as reviews of academic and cultural events, readers are given an opportunity to learn about local life and initiatives, sporting activities, and many aspects of the history and traditions of Limburg…
Thanks to its online format, Crossroads gives anyone wishing to know more about Maastricht and surroundings an opportunity to do so wherever they may live.
Crossroads also provides members of the international community with an open forum to express their thoughts, experiences and perspectives about life in Maastricht and South Limburg.
Most of our contributors come from the expatriate community. Some are also internationally oriented Dutch writers who wish to share their culture with their fellow foreign residents.
