Dutch Study Advisor Maarten van Kooij and Thai Bachelor student Saichon Kloyiam will be the two contestants representing Maastricht University’s Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences at the New York City Marathon next November. In running the marathon, Maarten and Saichon hope to raise money for the Faculty’s scholarship fund and raise awareness about personal health.
